Launch Week Day One Part 2: The Masterpiece Alphabet is ready!
Over the last year, I have been writing the curriculum for The Masterpiece Alphabet through my love of children’s books, book reviewing and blogging on our sister blog ScissorsandGlue.ca. A few months ago, I was inspired to create a plan from A to Z with books that share creative artistic expression, in so many ways! Because this curriculum is so brand new, even my kiddos have yet to dive in with it, so we will be starting it in the new year!
The Masterpiece Alphabet is here for you and your kids
Written for kids ages 3 to 10 in mind, learning together in a multi-aged homeschool setting, these lessons will have something for everyone, with coloring pages, letter recognition, reading predictable sentences, creating felt letters, fun art projects, and so much more!

As I have been creating our Adventures in Italy with The Build Your Masterpiece Class, I have searched high and low for children’s books, and in that search, I have also come across so many other books, that began to get my creative juices flowing. So, you could say that each curriculum works together, and I encourage you to Mix + Match both curriculums as you wish!
Learn the 7 Elements of Art in a fun way
Teaching kids the 7 elements of art is a great way to build the basic understanding of what art is, and is a key component in many school requirements up until grade 5, and I wanted to include them here, as a fun introduction to them, for kids 3 to 10.

We have been unschooling for the past 9 years, and I have found that pushing writing before a child is ready, can have really damaging effects, on some children. Following the lead of your child has been our true passion because of the first-hand experience with this. To continue the learning and keeping things engaging and fun with children who may suffer from anxiety with writing or reading is in the heart of our curriculum creations.

UPDATED: The download is a ZIP FILE that has 3 FILES included. Please open all files to utilize all of the resources included. I have added the additional language arts pages to the original Lesson Plans, and things will be a lot easier for printing you desired pages per lesson/letter in the future, as of Sept. 30. 2021. Please note that this program is for a range fo ages, learning together, so you can print the worksheet pages for your children as needed.
