Having a Reading Plan Saves Energy
Having a set list for each month, on top of the curriculum's mentor reading that I follow with our other curriculums this year, such as writers workshop and whole group math, it is really great for my youngest child who is in Pre-K, as well as my slightly older kiddos, to give a boost of extra learning and a dose of fun. All I have to do is check the list, order the books from the Library and sit back! When they come in, my husband picks them up on his way home from work, or we take a trip to the library with the kids and get them. I also keep my eye out for them at used books stores, and sometimes grab them on amazon.ca! You can read here about how we use our local Library in our homeschool.See how we use our Homeschool Circle Time Booklet when we come together as a group to read these books during our Circle Time at the start of our school day or check out our homeschool space tour here, to get a closer look at how we do things.
So what are you waiting for? Give it a try and get it for FREE, follow the link below, and don't forget to share with your friends!
