Santa's Dog Christmas Card Craft - Plus FREE Coloring Page
Our kids love making Christmas Cards and while reading Santa's Dog in our homeschool this season we have been making these nice Christmas Card Crafts, and I have teamed up with Author JoAnn Sky and Ed Koehler to bring you a unique Book Inspired Craft, plus a FREE Coloring PAGE!
My kids have enjoyed Santa’s Dog by JoAnn Sky and Ed Koehler so much, and we have created a fun FREE Printable for you to enjoy with your kids, while reading this book, at home or in the classroom. Which is currently in our Downloads Library for our subscribers!
Santa's Dog Christmas Card Craft
Supplies Needed:
- Construction Paper, any color
- Santa and Lance Coloring Page
- Crayons, Markers, Pencil Crayons or Smencils
- Scissors
- Glue
Method:
Print out the Santa and Lance Printable page, that has 2 per page. Cut in half for one Santa and Lance per student, and have students fold construction paper in half, as well as begin cutting out their Santa and Lance Coloring Page.
Then begin coloring with any of your favorite crayons, markers, pencil crayons. We used our new Smencils, really fun and smelly pencil crayons.
When your coloring page is complete, glue onto the front side of your card, and add your choice of a message inside! This Christmas Card goes perfectly with the Homemade Dog Biscuits that you are your kids can make this holiday season as well. For teachers in the classroom, simply make this recipe ahead of time at home if you are unable to bake in your school, and have your students place them into gift bags, along with their cards.
