Field Trips to Beaver Creek

Field Trips to Beaver CreekBeaver Creek Conservation Area is about 15 minutes North of Saskatoon, and it's an easy drive to make. It is so beautiful and lovely to hike.Field Trips to Beaver CreekField Trips to Beaver CreekThe kids enjoy the different hiking trails that are there and every time they hike the trails, they have the option of seeing something new! The first time they saw a beaver swimming in the creek and its beaver dam. As well as a tree stump that was chewed down by a beaver.Field Trips to Beaver CreekField Trips to Beaver CreekField Trips to Beaver CreekWalking the trails, and sitting to rest at the viewpoints, looking out over the prairies is an enjoyable and rewarding feeling. Seeing this view was able to bring up lots of discussions about the creek, trees and the animals that live there.Field Trips to Beaver CreekField Trips to Beaver CreekField Trips to Beaver CreekThe kids also love looking for beautiful wildflowers along the path, as they know mommy loves these kinds of things, especially when they go on a hike with just daddy.Field Trips to Beaver CreekThe trails are fun and provide us all with some good physical exercise outdoors, and when we are tired from all the hiking we can stop in at the Visitors Center!
